Working draft. VechtenAI Marketer is still being built. This page describes how the service is designed to work and is updated as each feature launches; the final version is written once the product is complete.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information VechtenAI Marketer (the "Service"), operated by Vechten Labs ("we", "us"), collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have.
1. What we collect
- Account information: your email address, name, and a one-way hash of your password (we cannot read your password). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google.
- Brand and campaign information you provide: brand name, logo, colours, industry, purpose, campaign titles, prompts, uploaded images and documents, links, and your answers to the questions the AI supervisor asks.
- Connected social accounts: the account or Page name and identifiers, and the access tokens the platform issues so we can publish for you and read performance data. Tokens are stored encrypted. We never see your social media passwords.
- Content and results: the plans, copy, images and video created for your campaigns, what was published, and the performance statistics (such as reach, views, likes, comments and watch time) the platforms return for your posts.
- Billing information: your plan and payment history, and, for bank-transfer payments, the screenshot you upload. Card details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored by us.
- Support: tickets, messages and attachments you send us.
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device details, sign-in sessions, and logs of what the Service did (for example failed sign-ins and errors), used for security, abuse prevention and fixing problems.
2. How we use it
- To provide the Service: to run your account, research and plan campaigns, generate content, publish what you approve, and report results.
- To send you messages about the Service: confirmation and password emails, approval requests, support replies, and plan and payment notices.
- To keep the Service safe: to detect abuse, enforce our Terms, and check content for dangerous or inappropriate material.
- To improve the Service, and to improve your campaigns using the results of your own posts.
- To meet legal obligations.
3. Who we share it with
We use service providers to run the Service, and they receive only what they need to do their job:
- AI model providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic and Groq), who receive the text, links, images and other material needed to plan, write and research for you, including search queries when a model searches the web.
- VechtenAI Studio, which receives the prompts and reference images used to generate images and video, using the Studio account you connect.
- Social media platforms (Meta for Facebook, Instagram and Threads; Google for YouTube), which receive the content you approve and tell us how it performed.
- Google, if you choose to sign in with Google.
- Payment processors (for example Stripe and a cryptocurrency payment processor) for payments.
- Email and storage providers (such as Resend and Supabase) that send our email and store uploaded files.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information where the law requires, or to protect rights, safety and the security of the Service.
4. Data from social platforms
We use information we receive from a platform only to provide the Service to you: to publish your approved content and to show you how it performed. You can disconnect an account at any time in Settings, or by removing our access in the platform's own settings; we then stop using its tokens and delete them. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
5. Cookies
We use only the cookies the Service needs to work: to keep you signed in, to protect sign-in, and to remember your theme. We do not use advertising cookies.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. Notifications are kept for a limited time, and logs for as long as needed for security and diagnosis. When you close your account we delete or anonymize your personal information, except what we must keep for legal, accounting or security reasons.
7. Security
Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes. Tokens and API keys we hold on your behalf are encrypted. Access to files and data is restricted, and the admin area is separate from the customer area. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
You can view and change your brand details, email and password in Settings, disconnect social accounts, and close your account. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict some uses of it. To exercise these rights, open a ticket from the Support section of your account.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy as the Service changes, and change the date above. For material changes we will tell you in the Service or by email.
